Online Submissions

Please visit address and click “Make Submission” to submit an abstract (till 17.08.2018) and a full paper (after your abstract accepted , till 15.10.2018) .

Accepted full papers’ abstracts will be published electronically in the “Abstracts Book” , Full text papers will be published online in electronic FULL TEXT PAPERS book that have ISBN. The Speakers from 9 different countries has been accepted to make oral presentation for our congress until today (31.07.2018).

Everyone who participates in the Congress should pay (presenting papers, participating as listeners, etc.).How much payments are made and how to make them are detailed at (after recieveing acceptance of the full text paper – until 07.11.2018). At least one author must attend the congress, make a presentation of the declaration, and pay the participation fee. If paper has more than one author and other authors also want to join congress so they have to pay the particiation fee too.

Author Guidelines

Papers written in Turkish, English or French can all be sent to the İzmir International Congress on Economics and Administrative Sciences.

One author can submit at most 2 papers. Papers that has more than 3 authors will not be accepted (MAXIMUM 3 AUTHORS) . At least one author for a paper must pay the congress fee. (To see the fees click here.)

If the authors dont send full paper or pay registration fee, they can not present their papers and this papers wont be included in congress books.

Papers that have not appeared elsewhere, and have not be submitted for publication elsewhere can be sent for the congress.


Full paper submissions will be sent after the abstracts are submitted. For this reason, the abstract should be arranged to be at least 300 and at most 500 words. If abstracts are given in Turkish, it will be written in English too. Also Jel Codes must be written with the abstract. Writing should be done according to the following items for the abstract writing.

  • The scope and main objectives of the research should be stated clearly,
  • Should be Identified the Used method or methods,
  • Findings should be given clearly,
  • It should specify the main results clearly.


Papers should not exceed 10 pages excluding the abstract and references. Abstracts are limited to 200 words. For papers written in Turkish, abstracts should be in Turkish and in English. For manuscripts written in other languages, abstracts should be written in original language and in English. Papers must include the key words and JEL classifications.

Papers should be arranged in accordance with the following style guidelines:

  • The full papers must not include clues regarding the authors’ names and affiliations, and statements concerning the authors.
  • Title of the paper should be written in 14 points, centered, capital letters for initials and small for the others.
  • If there are acknowledgements –for example, if the paper has been presented in any conferences before- , this must be stated in the first page as a footnote.
  • Title of the abstracts should be written in bold and centered, abstracts should be written in 10 points, italic and justified.
  • Turkish title of the abstracts should be written 14 punto, English title of the abstracts should be written 12 punto and the name of authors should be written 12 punto.
  • Keywords and JEL classification codes should be written in 10 points and in italics.
  • Page format should be A4 sized, with spaces of 5 cm on the top, 4 cm on the right, the left and the bottom.
  • The paper should be written in Times New Roman 11 Points, normal and justified.
  • Indent should be 0.5 cm.
  • The line spacing should be 1.5.
  • The space among the paragraphs should be 6 nk.
  • To emphasize a certain word, phrase or sentence in the text, italics should be used.
  • All pages have to include page numbers.
  • Metric system must be used to separate the sections of the paper. Titles and subtitles should be short and understandable. Titles must be numbered including introduction and conclusion.
  • The main titles must be written in 11 points, bold and capital letters. The other titles must be written in 11 points, bold and their initials must be written in capital letters.
  • Tables and diagrams should be named and numbered and they should be centered. Titles of the tables must be written above the related tables and justified.
  • All graphics, maps and photos excluding the tables should be named as figure. Figures should be titled and numbered and written in centered. Titles of the figures must be below the related figures and justified.
  • Sources of the figures or tables must be stated as in-text citation below the figure or table.
  • Formulas and equations should be written by using equation editor. Equations should begin from the paragraph line. All equations must be numbered. Row numbers should be written in parentheses and placed in the right-hand side of the line.
  • Sources and references must be written in the text in parentheses, not in footnotes. Acknowledgements should be stated in footnotes. While stating sources and references in the text this order must be followed: Surname(s) of the author(s), year, and pages (if necessary). The followings may represent different examples for citations:

If one author; (Acar, 2000: 86).

If two authors; (Akalın and Aktuğlu, 1992: 80-85).

If more than two authors; (Ünlen et al., 1979: 33-35).

If you cite to the same author(s)’s papers published in the same year; (Sönmez, 1980a: 15-20; 1980b: 18-40).

Sources which are cited in the text must be placed in “References”. The author must control the consistency between citations and “References”.

The references should be written in single line spacing and arranged in alphabetical order by authors’ last names. The names and surnames of the authors must be written openly. All surnames must be written in capital letters. Names of the journals must not be abreviated in references. The references must be written in single line spacing. References should be cited as follows:

It is the author(s)’s responsibility not to comply with the standards mentioned in this annoumcement. In such a case the Editorial Board is entitled not to publish the paper regardless of the referee report.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The paper must not be published, and has not be submitted for publication elsewhere (For further information, see Author Guidelines).
  2. The paper must not include clues regarding the authors’ names and affiliations, and statements concerning the authors.
  3. The paper is in Microsoft Word document file format.

    • The paper should be written in Times New Roman 11 Points, normal and justified.
    • Indent should be 0.5 cm.

  4. References used in the text are showed up and references are arranged as stated in Authors Guidelines.

Terms and Conditions

  • If a paper is accepted as a result of the referee evaluation, the acceptance text will be sent to the participant. Acceptance of an paper is not guaranteed visa, accommodation and travel. IZCEAS does not guarantee visa, accommodation and travel. The Congress Organization Committee does not provide a visa support letter or visa service. Participants must carry out all kinds of visa and travel procedures themselves. The congress is not responsible for any financial or non-pecuniary damage that may arise due to reasons such as non-acceptance of the applicant’s visa.

Information about Publication Requirements

The following are the requirements for taking place in the abstract and full paper e-proceedings book with ISBN number:

– Checking papers for plagiarism by using plagiarism inspection softwares (will be done by our Congress) and certifying the absence of plagiarism

– Passing the academic refree evaluation process successfully

-No excuses ( illness or even more severe excuses, none) will be accepted for presentations of the papers under any terms. All the presentations must be physical presentations by a speaker. Presentations can not be delievered via teleconference or video conference.

All publication rights of the articles accepted for publication at the end of the peer-review process belong to İzmir International Congress on Economics and Administrative Sciences. There will be no royalty payment to the authors for published articles.

The authors admits that the submitted papers is not published elsewhere or is not in the process of being evaluated for publication, and that, in the case of the publication of the articles submitted for evaluation, all publishing rights belong to the “Izmir International Congress on Economics and Administrative Sciences”.
